Apply to Chief Accountant
In our Polish operation, we are now looking for a Chief Financial Accountant. The main responsibility will be driving proper accounting process across two sites (Bielsko-Biala and Gliwice) and manage an accounting/finance team on each site.
Activities will include:
- Keeping accounting and tax records according to company policy and legal requirements
- Active communication with tax, customs and other other regulation authorities, provision of required documentations and statements, explanations
- VAT and corporate income tax preparation
- Preparation of annual budget and related forecasts
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly or annual financial reports for the manufacturing site and ensuring highest accuracy of reporting
- Working closely with the Financial Director and Plant Manager on improvements and savings
- Supervision and management of site accounting teams and their development and guidance
Requirements:
- University degree in Economics or Finance
- Min. 5 years experience in similar position in finance or accounting in a bigger manufacturing company
- Experience within an Automotive manufacturing environment advantageous
- Knowledge and ability to interpret accounting and tax regulations
- High level of accuracy and detail orientation
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage team workload
- Ability or previous experience in leading accounting/finance team and their professional development
- Fluent Polish and English
