Target of the Job
The position holder is responsible for ensuring compliance and sustainability within procurement processes across APG Europe. This includes managing purchasing systems, aligning with corporate responsibility requirements, and driving adherence to environmental and social regulations such as CO₂ reduction targets, LKSG, EUDR, and CSRD.
Task
- Manage and develop the Purchasing system (processes and procedures), ensuring documentation and
- supplier Master Contracts are compliant with legislation and industry standards.
- Represent the Purchasing system during certification and customer audits.
- Develop process interfaces between corporate and local teams in purchasing.
- Lead the CSR procurement policy: establish a structured approach and strategy for environmental and social
- causes; identify, measure, and monitor action-plan indicators under the sustainable procurement policy.
- Ensure compliance with CO₂ reduction targets, LKSG, EUDR, and CSRD requirements.
- Conduct supplier sustainability and compliance assessments using platforms such as Prewave.
- Act as an internal ambassador for CSR policies, raising awareness internally and with suppliers.
- Align customer corporate responsibility requirements with APG strategy.
Competences
- Strong knowledge of sustainability regulations (CO₂, LKSG, EUDR, CSRD).
- Ability to manage compliance systems and supplier risk monitoring tools (e.g., Prewave).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multicultural environments.
- Strong organizational and audit preparation skills.
Special Projects or other important information
- Implementation of supplier risk monitoring via Prewave.
- Development of reporting frameworks for CO₂, LKSG, EUDR, and CSRD compliance.
- Continuous improvement of sustainable procurement strategies.
Qualification:
- Secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent.
- Minimum 3+ years in procurement compliance roles.
- Experience in Corporate Responsibility or Sustainable Procurement
- Experience in one or more of the following CO₂, LKSG, EUDR, and CSRD preferable.
- Fluent English (B2 or higher). Knowledge of automotive standards (IATF 16949, VDA) is an advantage. Familiarity with sustainability regulations and reporting tools. Strong IT skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Willingness to travel (valid driving license).
