Senior Plant Controller (Žatec nebo Kadaň)

The Senior Plant Controller is a member of the regional controlling team. He/she will manage and support all controlling supervision for two site locations (Žatec and Kadaň) and ensure data integrity going into the Group consolidated data.
 

Main tasks:

  • Provide reliable financial / controlling information
  • Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring data integrity
  • Control information in our Financial reports and support plants in their deployment
  • Ensure reliability of standard costing (Standardise costing processes and procedures)
  • Support the plant and regional controller with variance analyses: analyses of standard costs vs actual
  • margin/program analyses
  • plant budget vs actual analyses
  • Contribute to the control and management of cashflow KPIs (capex, inventories, overdues)
  • Support a large global organisation to get transparency on project profitability
  • Participate in the budget & forecasting process
  • Participate in ad hoc projects of controlling
  • Implement new processes or methodologies defined by the Region or Group
  • Continuous improvement of reporting (PPV, current costing, inventory revaluation, BW reporting, etc…)
  • Support SAP competency in new functionality
  • Participate to the process development with corporate (redaction and validation process)
  • Ensure the proper communication flow through the Region
  • Actively support controlling team development (training, workshop..) where appropriate
  • Participate to the deployment of SAP and transfer Accounting activity to a Shared Service
  • Ensure compliance with all financial procedures
  • Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures, including spending authorisation, in accordance with Group procedures and policies
  • Ensure site activities are compliant with Group finance-related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, …) and internal control basics
  • Assist with the external Audit

Qualifications:

  • Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree or Master's degree in Finance
  • Proven financial/controlling background experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office products and SAP ERP business solutions
  • Solid accounting knowledge
  • Strong teamwork mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, analytical and synthesis skills and autonomy
  • Permanent improvement mindset
  • Fluent in English required
  • Willingness to travel
