IT Technician

Adler Evo srl, for the Santhià Plant, located in Santhià (VC), is looking for a IT Technician.

Objectives of the position

The IT Technician's role encompasses the daily technical support and management of IT resources, focusing on end-user satisfaction, troubleshooting, and system maintenance. This position is pivotal in maintaining the organization's IT environment.

Key responsibilities

  • End-User Support: Provide technical assistance and prompt troubleshooting to end-users for hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to their work.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Maintain, repair, and upgrade desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other hardware equipment as needed.
  • Software Support: Install, configure, and update software applications, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Network Assistance: Assist in network configuration and maintenance, resolving connectivity issues.
  • Cybersecurity Measures: Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures, including access controls and antivirus software.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory, configurations, and support requests.
  • Ticketing System Management: Use the IT ticketing system to efficiently track, prioritize, and resolve technical issues.
  • Basic System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and patches.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in desktop and server operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of network protocols and configurations.
  • Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
  • Familiarity with software installation, configuration, and updates.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Good level of written English proficiency, a strong oral communication skill would be viewed as a plusSOF.
  • Availability to travel to neighbouring plants

  • Scripting or programming skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Basic understanding of data backup and recovery procedures
