We are looking for a PC&L Manager to support our manufacturing site in Pitesti, RO.
Responsibilities:
- performs activities in the company's Logistics department by coordinating and controlling the storage/storage/arrangement/purchase/delivery of goods from warehouses
- coordinates the relationship with customers and suppliers (before series production/during series production/out of series production/special deliveries)
- organizes and supervises the development of the company's transport activity in compliance with all the normative acts in force regarding the road transport of goods
- monitors the realization of the transport budget and sends the monthly situation to the management
- coordinates and controls freight shipments/receptions and investigates the causes of discrepancies
- participate in the monthly and/or annual inventory processes
- follows and provides support to subordinates in relation to raw material/finished product requirements and forwards it to the involved departments
- offers consultancy and support to the other departments of the company regarding aspects of logistics, stock management, transportation of purchased products, packaging
- develops and coordinates the database regarding stocks in order to provide in time the correct information about the levels of goods (materials, finished products)
- proposes the scrapping or removal from use of various materials, under the conditions provided by law
- fulfills the duties assigned by the company administrator and participates in changes in projects/new projects of the company
- organizes the granting of rest and days off for subordinate personnel and ensures the verification of the monthly time attendance which is sent to the human resources department
- reports performance indicators to internal departments and to management
- establishes, according to the organizational structure, the tasks and responsibilities of subordinate personnel, based on job descriptions
Requirements:
- at least 4 years relevant experience in logistics management within a manufacturing industry
- degree in engineering or logistics related discipline is desirable
- advanced knowledge of ERP
- project management skills with experience in managing and driving change
- good communication, presentation and analytical skills
- ability to lead, influence and build strong working relationships
- high level of written and spoken English
