Quality Director (multi-site)

Quality Director, multi-site

Defining and implementing the quality/environment policy across 5 production sites in France in line with customer requirements, internal/external audits and standards. Manage quality actions linked to the industrialisation and production of products in compliance with specifications.

Main Responsibilities: 
  • Defining and implementing quality policy

  • Leading quality managers and teams across multiple plant locations

  • Direct contact with OEM customers including new projects, escalations, audits, etc.

  • Participate in the implementation of the improvement process

  • Lead or participate in internal or customer working groups

  • Participate in drawing up the site's Progress Plan and make proposals for actions within his/her remit

  • Present annual quality reviews and objectives to customers

  • Measure the satisfaction of quality requirements expressed by the customer

  • Organise supplier performance measurement

  • Participate in the definition of the necessary equipment and control resources and ensure their management and implementation

  • Authorise quality deviations (non-compliance with the process, delivery of products that do not precisely meet customer requirements)

  • Prepare and lead the Management Review

  • Participate in FMEAs and represent the organisation at these meetings

Profile: 
  • University Degree in Engineering 

  • Similar background in leading quality management teams across multiple plant locations

  • Strong Automotive production environment experience 

  • Experience in direct negotiations with OEM customers

  • ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards

  • Excellent communication skills to ensure good relations with various internal and external contact

  • Fluency in English and French

  • Strong team leadership experience, incl. leading quality management teams/departments
